We provide a warm, fun and stimulating environment that fosters the holistic development of children aged 0 months to 6 years. Our Mission is to provide a service that is inclusive and appreciative of all children, families, staff and community.
We have 100% qualified staff who have a sound knowledge of current policies and practices. We honour and respect the treaty of Waitangi where Kaupapa Maori is woven into the curriculum. Our focus is to deliver a programme where children’s needs and interests are followed and where kaupapa Maori and mainstream education sit side by side.
Our Services
We will provide a warm and stimulating environment that will foster children’s growth in a fun and holistic way. It is important that children enjoy attending Bright Stars Educare, feel safe and regard this centre.
Through our programme children will learn life skills, values and gain confidence in themselves through lots of fun and positive child and teacher initiated activities that links to Te Whäriki and other current legislation.
We strive to establish and maintain meaningful relationships – Nga hononga with children and their families and ensure that all parents & whanau are actively involved in their child’s learning.
Staff will respect all children and whanau and in return be respected – Manaakitanga. Staff will be given further opportunities to enhance and develop professional knowledge.
