All policies along with a review sheet will be displayed near the information board for Management, Staff and families to review the policies at any time. An annual plan for policy review will be developed by the Manager which will commence in the month of January and will be completed by December of the same year. Management and staff will consider the feedback and a review form will be completed as each policy is reviewed and filed in the Internal Review folder. At the commencement of each year staff will be given time to read and attest to policies. An ongoing record of reviewing practices will be documented in the Internal Review forms and filed in the Internal Review Folder.  Along with spontaneous reviews the centre’s community will identify 2 areas within the programme that needs further development. A plan will be created using input from staff and parents and whanau before being implemented. The process and results will be documented and can be found in the self internal review folder. A copy of He Pou Tätaki will be available to inform management and staff on review indicators. Every 2 years a staff member will attend professional development regarding Review and Programme Planning. Periodically the centre’s programme planning will be reviewed at staff meetings to see that the needs of the children are being met.  Any changes to the programme will be documented and placed in the Internal Review Folder. The Centre Philosophy will be reviewed each year at a staff or staff and parent evening.

Health and Safety Checks will be carried out daily and the Health and Safety Teacher is responsible to keep this review process up to date
