Health and Safety Policy

Rationale: The Management of Bright Stars Educare is committed to ensuring that the health and safety of all children, staff, whanau and visitors in the centre is always protected.

Objectives: Always provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all children.  To always provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.  To ensure that all regulations pertaining to Early Childhood health and safety is adhered to.  To provide instruction to children and staff which will ensure equipment materials are always used correctly.  To provide information to all whanau, children and staff which will allow all to keep safe and healthy and develop their well being.

Procedures: The centre supervisor will ensure safe practices are always carried out during the day to day functions at the centre.  Refer to the following policies and procedures:

Our environment, inside and out, provides the children with a great learning facility. From playtime activities to music and dances, there is always something happening at Bright Stars Educare centres.

LEARNING TOGETHER

The children are provided with endless opportunities to explore and play in our outdoor area. A large wooden and steel playframe with slides and other play equipment, sandpit, and separate swings.

HANDS ON ACTIVITIES

Each day children are offered creative opportunities through artwork, dance and song or messy play. The extensive range of first hand experiences enables children to develop skills for their future lives

Our team of friendly, dedicared staff make our Bright Stars Educare centres, a wonderful place for your child to play and learn. Our staff offer a range of skills and experience that will help your child to learn.
