Centre Cleaning Procedures

Using green coloured cloths and disinfectant wipe down toys once contaminated or at the end of each week.  Encourage tamariki to help.

Wipe down inside of windows when needed using newspaper and water.

Vacuum carpet floor areas and mop wooden floors each day.  Use mop and bucket labelled centre.

Dust window ledges and all other areas which collect dust.

Ensure all windows are closed and baby monitor, stereo, washing machine and dryer are turned off at the wall.

Ensure the cleaning of the centre is carried out at the end of each day.

When mopping the floor ensure that the safety sign is displayed.

Daily ensure that rubbish bins are emptied and that the bins are scrubbed on the last day of school.

Our environment, inside and out, provides the children with a great learning facility. From playtime activities to music and dances, there is always something happening at Bright Stars Educare centres.

LEARNING TOGETHER

The children are provided with endless opportunities to explore and play in our outdoor area. A large wooden and steel playframe with slides and other play equipment, sandpit, and separate swings.

HANDS ON ACTIVITIES

Each day children are offered creative opportunities through artwork, dance and song or messy play. The extensive range of first hand experiences enables children to develop skills for their future lives
